Your details and Sweet Earth Goa
Sweet Earth Goa is a family home with four holiday apartments in Calangute, North Goa, run by Merlin & Joshua. This page explains what we do with the details you give us on hello.sweetearthgoa.in.
What we collect
- Your first name and email address.
- The page you signed up on, and the exact sentence you agreed to, with the date and time. This is our proof of your consent.
- A scrambled code made from your internet connection, used only to stop spam. We do not store your IP address.
Why we collect it
- To send you our Goa notes, only if you ticked that box.
- If you only gave your email for something specific (like your Goa plan), we use it only for that.
What we never do
- We never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.
- We never sign you up without your own tick in an empty box.
- We use no advertising trackers or cookies on these pages.
Where it is kept
In our own database with Supabase (servers in Australia), with a daily backup kept for 30 days in a private GitHub account. Only Merlin and Joshua can see it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime with the link in any email, or by writing to us.
- Ask us to show, correct or delete your details: write to hello@sweetearthgoa.in and we will reply within 30 days.
- When we delete your details, backups clear themselves within 30 days. We keep a scrambled record that you once agreed and then withdrew, as proof.
